The RPG Minecraft Server hereby declares it's Independence from FTB.

That's right, The RPG Minecraft server will no longer use the FTB launcher. At the same time it will now feature all new mods and be updated frequently as opposed to the months of waiting with FTB.

Thanks to our fearless leader MrTubzy456, we will now use Muti MC's easy to use program and have a custom made pack of all up to date mods and alot of them.

The main reason for the sudden rebellion from conformity is several fold, 1. FTB has clearly stated that the pack we currently use will have to wait weeks to months before updating is considered. 2. Divine RPG while fun is very buggy, 3. This server has yet to have a steady holding and this will give us a chance at a more long term level of gaming and still have up to date gear and bug fixes.

This server will continue its strict whitelist of only trusted individuals. If you were not on before chances are you're not allowed here.

UPDATE: The following mods need to be removed from your pack until they are ready for our current version of FORGE: Thermal Expansion, Tinkers Construct, Omni Tools, and Thaumcraft 3. These will hopefully be added again once they are fixed.
Also, the COFH core mod must be updated, under the coremods folder. The updated version is in the dropbox

Some of the mods aren't currently working for smp so, we will have to wait and add them later. Also, Cofh is a coremod, you'll need to replace it in the coremod folder to get it up to date. That's for thermal expansion which, for some reason, won't work on the server.

These changes are definitely so that I don't have to restart the world as frequently as I've had to in the past. All updated mods will be put in the dropbox and you will have to download and replace just the mod when it is time to update.

when i try to log on it sais i need CoFH world and CoFH network but when i try to put the ones tubz put in the dropbox it sais its duplicated and still dont let me in help plox

as far as rest of mods, how is this going to work then, if your asking us to remove them for the time being, are you just going to reset anyways because thaum and thermal add world gen. just wondering if yur going to keep ftb untill then or are we switched already?

I know this is a pain but might help others as well, can someone do a detailed instruction on how to load these mods from the zip file that tubz has. I tried just dragging the core mod into the core mods then the "tubz mod pack" zip into the mods folder but wont work, says im missing FML

There is other mods in that pack, other coremods and forge. I put the whole thing together for you guys so, make sure you're unpacking the whole thing and using it. Just watch the video and I show you how to do it quickly and easily.

Plus there has been an issue with memory and how much your pc is allcoating to mc. I show you how to do that too. The thing with allocating more ram to java is: if it's too little then you'll run out of memory and, if it's too much you'll get performance issues. You'll have to do some testing on your own to figure out where the sweet spot for that is. I use min 1024 and max 2048 so, try that first cuz that is a good baseline to get you started.

Um that youtube link does not work for me it just takes me to my personal uploads. Its snoop btw. Also when I try to log in I get the message Failed to login:Bad login

Link should be fixed for the video. I think you've installed something wrong so, watch the vid and make sure you're doing it right.

Well, if it was just a stone then you probably would have known how to get out of the end instead of jsut learning how the other day. The world won't be reset. Not for a long time. Thermal adds world gen that we already have and I'm aware of thaum's world gen. When it is time to put those on the server I will create an age in mystcraft so, you guys can get the ores in there. A digger age.

Also, I found a current copy of inventory tweaks, you're gonna wanna add that in your mods folder. Unless, you don't like that sort of thing.

Added thermal expansion and tinkers. Make sure your pack is up to date when joining the server. Ars and ae still aren't working so, it might be a whole effort they're on the server.

I think you're missing the point. EE3 is still OP and the way you guys use and abuse it makes mc boring.

As usual you are missing the point, which is the fact that EE3 isn't done yet. It may eventually be not op but until Pahimar get his head out his ass, it is.

Lolk, I'm just glad we have parted ways with FTB, now I know updated are around th coner when they come out, and also means we can get the best mods.

I went on the list and I was wondering if we could add GalacticCraft? It is for 1.5.1 which I believe we are still on (correct me if I'm wrong). If you don't know what it is, it basically allows you to travel to other planets and the moon with spaceships that actually fly, parachutes, IC2 recipes and I think BC recipes too. It also comes with moon rovers and I think they put villages in for different planets with aliens in them. Check it out if you want, i think it would be a great addition to the server!
